TESTIMONIALS
Greg Dykstra - Principal, CLR Design
"CLR needed a strong solid vision from Arbuckle to express to our clients our passion for what we do. Arbuckle got what we do very quickly, gave 200% guiding us through the process, and produced an exceptionally creative solution for us. The final product has served us incredibly well."
Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan - Co-Founder/CEO of Apartment Therapy
"We've been working with Ian and Arbuckle Industries to film our live events for the past five months, after working with less expensive freelancers. While we expected things to get better,
they have impressed us repeatedly with much higher standards and numerous improvements that we never anticipated.
They are professional, super reliable and always looking ways to improve what we do together. At this point we consider them worth every penny and more."
Kathryn Fink - Community Development Lead at Meetup.com
"Arbuckle produces exceptional work in every sense. Their professionalism shows--from their understanding of the vision, their work on-location, and the finished product. They're simply awesome to work with."
Mailet Lopez - Founder, I Had Cancer
"Videos can speak volumes and having the right videos can make all the difference. We chose to work with Arbuckle Industries because of a recommendation but their work solidified the deal. Our shoot was focused on recording the experiences of cancer survivors, fighters and their supporters.
Due to the sensitivity of the topic we needed a team that would go above and beyond to ensure the whole process would go as smooth as possible. Arbuckle did just that.
They consulted on lighting/sound, provided feedback on our script, and guided our interview process. Despite being tasked with the challenge of shooting in a noisy space, the Arbuckle team worked with our location to provide a final product that had great sound, was beautifully shot, and highlighted our participants inspirational stories."
Rick Bell - FAIA, Executive Director at American Institute of Architects New York Chapter (AIANY)
"The AIA New York Chapter has a long-standing relationship with Arbuckle Industries having collaborated on the celebratory videos for our annual Heritage Ball dinner. We selected Arbuckle because of the multifaceted talents of its principles Ian Harris and David Krantz, who were able to engage all aspects of the video production. They start the annual process with a distinctive and creative vision, outlining the interview questions for such notable architects as Harry Cobb, Richard Meier, Cesar Pelli and distinguished industry figures including Gary Barnett (Extel), Timur Galen (Goldman Sachs) and Bob Silman (Silman Associates). Following through with scouting and selection of locations, the process continues into editing and production, inserting music and appropriate B-roll images.
At AIANY we have been delighted with the consistent level of professionalism necessary because of the nature of the event - not only a conferring of honors but the principal sustaining fundraiser of our organization with some 1,200 attendees each year.
The overall quality of the work is superlative, combining intellectual acuity with visual beauty to capture the attention and interest of dinner attendees with notoriously short attention spans.
Arbuckle has been able to work well within the Heritage Ball project complex needs of timing, quality and interview availability - to come up with extraordinary and archival materials that represent an oral and visual history of some of the most exemplary names in the design professions and construction industry today.
Doing so, Arbuckle is more than a hired film production company, but, rather, an extension of the AIANY family, understanding the values, branding and "heritage" nature of what we bring to public attention. Arbuckle is an invaluable asset, communicating our message to stalwarts, sponsors and significant guests at a very special event each year. In so doing they capture the essence of the New York City built environment.
It is most significant that Arbuckle is a company comprised of individuals trained in architecture, with notable outside credentials understanding studio culture as well as practice.
Their knowledge and capabilities have not only streamlined the process but made it an engaging and stimulating annual check-in about where we are as a profession and a city.
We enjoy the interaction, as do the luminaries filmed. More importantly, the audience is rapt- paying attention to the videos and enthusiastically registering by applause their quality."
