When a green flag was raised in the middle of a gymnasium in 1941, the founders of the now annual event known as Girls Show had no idea the rivalry they created. Seventy-one years later in the town of Little Falls, New Jersey, with three generations of participants, the emotions run high and the history runs deep. In a competition that began as a message of girls equality in the field of athletics, this ever-evolving event is the most important night at Passaic Valley High School. Providing the contests history and the challenges high school girls of today face, as well as chronicling the intense practices and dedication that go into making Girls Show such an important event, this documentary is a statement and a poignant reminder of all of the important decisions a high school student must make.
