We recently produced the second episode for Apartment Therapy's latest series, "Maker Talks." The series is an on-site Q&A between Maxwell Ryan and a chosen "maker" that changes from video to video.
In this episode, we visited the Shifman Mattress Company, which has been producing beautiful, handmade mattresses out of the same factory in Newark, NJ since 1893! It was fascinating to see the mechanics that goes into building a mattress by hand. We also learned how they've evolved over the past 100+ years into one of the most respected brands in the business.
