4 YEAR OLD DRIVING A VOLVO
Video Credit: Volvo Sometimes these "stunt" videos can be a little offputting, but this recent video by Volvo is pretty excellent. The video allows a 4-year-old by the name of Sophie to operate a Volvo FMX using a remote control. The video is meant to illustrate their new Automatic Traction Control and the overall toughness of the truck. We guarantee that you will crack a smile while watching this one, kudos to the Creative Team and Editor behind this project! #ArbuckleIndust

STRAIGHT TALK - NEADS
Video Credit: Arbuckle Industries This was a very rewarding project to work on and a nice change of pace from a lot of the work we normally do. It was our second time working with the Propane Education & Resource Council (PERC), and it was an incredible experience. This time around, PERC supplied propane-based heating to NEADS (Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans), an organization that provides service and hearing dogs to people all over the country. CHICAGO ARCHITECTURE BIENNIAL
Courtesy: Arbuckle Industries We were in Chicago last week covering the first ever Chicago Architecture Biennial. Chicago is the first American city to launch an architectural biennial of this size. The event was established in order to provide a public platform for architectural projects and installations, similar to that of the Venice Bienniale (which we covered last year). Chicago definitely made sense as a host city as it is centrally located, has strong ties to the archi

As a kid, I remember seeing the murals of Philadelphia and thinking they were the coolest thing, they were so large and colorful you couldn't help but notice them. Philadelphia was one of the early supporters of authorized murals and founded their Mural Arts program in 1984 as part of a larger Anti-Graffiti e

photo by Ari Burling Every year, the University of Minnesota’s School of Architecture, College of Design, puts on a week long event called “Catalyst.” This event brings new ideas and conversations to the table by inviting professionals in the field of architecture and design to give public lectures and conduct week-long courses with first and second year graduate architecture students. This year, Arbuckle’s own Ian Harris had the opportunity to speak while teaching a class

CHOOSING THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT
Is a DSLR good enough? Should I rent those lights? What happens if they ask for 4K?! Everybody goes through the same process when trying to pick the right gear. The good news is, there has never been a better time for video production. There are more products, price-points, and equipment options than ever-- but this can also produce a lot of stress and confusion, because there’s so much crap to choose from! Start by asking yourself these questions: What can we feasibly accomp
