WINTER LUMINARIES AT BROOKFIELD PLACE

Video Credit: Arbuckle Industries

The wonderful folks at Brookfield Place, also known as the World Financial Center, gave us special access to their new Luminaries exhibit, a beautiful, interactive light installation.

Designed by the Lab at Rockwell Group, the exhibit was comprised of 650 hanging lanterns that cycled through six programmed light shows, with titles like "fireworks," "Christmas tree" and "snowfall." Visitors could send a colorful wish to the lanterns above by touching one of the wishing stations. For every wish, Arts Brookfield donated $1 up to $25,000 to the GRAMMY Foundation to support its GRAMMY in the Schools music education programs for high school students.

The free event closed for the season on January 10, but it will be rebuilt next winter. So if you missed it this year, watch our video for now, then check it out in person next time!
